Police state that the collision occurred when one of the gravel trucks, heading north on Nelson Road, went through a stop sign and t-boned a second gravel truck travelling on the highway. The second truck left the roadway, overturning on to its side and spilling its load.

Both drivers were uninjured in the incident. The highway had to be temporarily closed to recover the overturned truck and for clean up.
