Fort St. John RCMP are searching for an unknown number of suspects after several properties were vandalised over the B.C. Day long weekend.

Police say rocks were thrown through windows at different homes, businesses, and commercial buildings in the areas around 86 to 98 St. and 96 to 99 Ave. between Sunday and Tuesday.

There were also reports of construction signs and stop signs being removed, which police say could be hazardous since they are specifically designed for public safety.

Although they say there were reports that between five and seven youths were seen in the areas where the various vandalism acts were taking place, they have no suspects.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Fort St. John RCMP detachment at 250-787-8140 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
