Police seek help in locating vandal

At some point between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, an unknown person or persons scratched or keyed the sides and hood of a parked vehicle. The damage consisted of words and lines scratched into the paint, and as a result, the vehicle will require cosmetic repairs.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact Chetwynd RCMP at (250) 788-9221 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Police would also like to remind the public to keep an eye on unattended vehicles, and to park in well-lit, visible areas whenever possible, as this could dissuade criminal activity.
