Races finally held in Taylor

After a few delays, the Taylor Speedway finally got to hold some races.

Over the long weekend, the Taylor Speedway held their 2nd annual Imagine That Mini Stock Challenge, which took place Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31.

The two days of races had three heats take place in categories such as bombers, mini junior, mini adults, sports and mini sprints.

After a total of six heats over the two day total, points were added up, determining the first, second and third place winners of the Mini Stock Challenge.

Cora-Lee Krahn would finish in first place, Azurdee Peever would finish in second place and Colton Glaicar finished third.

The next event taking place at the Taylor Speedway will be the final weekend of races for this summer season. Races are scheduled to take place Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14.
