Random goodies available at City's surplus auction

Residents of Fort St. John should prepare for a four-hour shopping spree.

On Wednesday, the City is holding its Auction of Surplus Items. The auction will take place at the Fort St. John Kids Arena between 5 and 9 p.m. The City will be selling all of its excess items.

Some items that will be auctioned off include bicycles, unclaimed items recovered from the RCMP, office equipment, a variety of electronics and unclaimed items located in local lost and founds.

The actual auction will begin at 7 p.m., but potential shoppers are encouraged to show up anytime after 5 p.m. to view the merchandise for sale, as well as to register.

Anyone interested in participating is asked to arrive by 6:30 p.m. at the latest to ensure an auction number.
