Stolen truck recovered, but police still seeking thief

At around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dawson Creek RCMP was alerted that a 2007 Ford F350 – a four-door truck, gray in colour – with concrete tools in the box had been stolen from an address on 96 Avenue. The vehicle was located about an hour-and-a-half later by joggers who were passing by on the Rotary Walking Trail near Tubby’s RV Park.

The truck and tools were recovered, but the truck was damaged after colliding with the bridge.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
