Traffic Stop turns into drug arrest

During the early evening hours Monday, the RCMP located a vehicle near Silvers Cold Beer and Wine store with four people inside with open liquor.  RCMP members then noticed a bag of marijuana in plain view, which lead to a search of the vehicle.

During the search, the RCMP located 4 ounces of cocaine with a street value of over $7,000.  A 25 year-old male was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.  The male was released on bail after a decision made by a Judicial Justice of the Peace.
