19 year-old James Gregory Lee still missing from Grande Prairie area

So far, none of the tips the RCMP have received have led to any new information about his whereabouts.

RCMP are asking everyone who was camping as well as anyone driving in that area during the weekend of September 2-4 to contact the local detachment at 780-830-5700. Lee may have hitch hiked on Highway 40.

Anyone in the Smoky Flats area is being asked to look for signs of Lee being in the area. He was last seen wearing a brown hoodie, blue jeans and Adidas running shoes.

Lee is described as :
– Caucasian male,
– Approximately 6'0" tall
– 150 lb.
– short brown hair
– hazel eyes

Since his disappearance, ground searchers have covered a 2.5 km radius from where he was last seen, as well as checked cut lines, oil lease roads and the railway tracks from Grande Prairie to 25 km south of the Smoky Flats. After searching by air and water, the search has been scaled back, meaning they are using less resources but still have officers dedicated to the investigation.

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of James Gregory Lee, please call Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5700.
