Alleyoop! to offer interactive family fun in Dawson Creek

Alleyoop! will perform at the Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre from 3 to 4 p.m. The show is presented by South Peace Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) thanks to funding from Success By 6.

Hirsch, who hails from Seattle, Washington, has over 37 years of experience as an educator and entertainer, and his performance is sure to be interactive and fun. Katherine Charbonneau, program coordinator for CCRR, said it’s a great opportunity for both children and parents to enjoy themselves.

“It focuses on music and movement, so it gets the children moving and focuses on physical activity, which we like to promote,” said Charbonneau. “It also makes the children feel good about themselves, and they get to participate with their families, which we like.”

She added to make the show more comfortable and intimate they are encouraging families to bring their own blankets to sit on and their own snacks to enjoy during the performance.

Tickets are available at the CCRR office inside the Co-op Mall beside Sears, and at the Northern Toybox on 10 Street off of 103 Avenue, and cost $10 per family of four, and $2 for additional tickets. More information on Allan Hirsch can be found online at  www.alleyoop.us.
