On Tuesday, Oct. 4, the women's league of the club will be holding its AGM at the Fort St. John Curling Rink to discuss a variety of issues and concerns regarding the upcoming season.

Some of those issues include when this year’s bonspiel will be held, the theme of that competition, as well as any issues and concerns members would like dealt with from the previous season.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. The main league will also be holding an AGM, which will take place Tuesday, Oct. 22.

The club will also be holding beginner and advanced curling clinics. The beginner clinic will take place on Saturday Oct. 1 and costs $30, while the advanced clinic will be held on Oct. 2, costing $40. Lunch will also be included at both of these clinics. Spots are limited so register quickly, as roughly half of the spots have already been filled.

This year’s men and women’s curling league will start on Tuesday, Oct. 11 and registration is officially open to anyone interested.

Any questions can be directed towards Tina at 250-262-7494 and to register, please contact either the curling club at 250-785-2037 or visit the curling club’s official website.
