Dawson Creek man charged following vehicle collision that killed another area resident

Beaverlodge RCMP have charged Gordon Sean Pack, 22, with driving at an unreasonable speed, driving left of the centre line and distracted driving. He is scheduled to make his first appearance in Grande Prairie Traffic Court on November 22.

The collision at occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Monday on Highway 43 near Range Road 130. The deceased and his 74-year-old female passenger were traveling in a van east on the highway when they collided with a westbound van, driven by Pack, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was not injured as a result of the collision.
