Energy Expo kicks off in Fort St. John

Grant Pegden-Wright is running a booth for both his manufacturing company Dyna-Flo and the products he distributes from Argus. He says hosting a booth at the Expo is worth the cost because it gives him the opportunity to see many companies at once, as well as a chance to check out the competition.

He also says it gives him the opportunity to reach other customers he may not have been able to otherwise, like an engineering tech he had just spoken to who recommends products to companies.

"He's the perfect guy for me because he didn't realize we do what we do, and he's using our competitor's valves. He sees this, and now he knows that there's options and competitive pricing."

The expo runs until 6 p.m. Wednesday and is open again from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Pomeroy Hotel.
