On Sept. 14 the bike club held another evening Cactus Mountain Bike Race, and Stephen Ferris took first place, with a new low long lap time of 27 minutes and 5 seconds.

Port Moody’s Tyson Koempffer finished second in the race with a time of 29:06 and Victoria’s Geordie Morrison placed third at 33:16.

The bike club will be right back at it Thursday evening, racing in its Toony Cross race. The race will begin at the high school at 6 p.m.
