Fire consumes vehicle in Pine Pass

At around 7:30 p.m., a man was driving an old school bus that had been converted into a camper unit when he was waived down by a passing motorist and informed his bus was on fire. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire, but the vehicle was destroyed.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Despite the incident, the highway remained open to traffic in both directions.
