Fort St. John to subsidize energy audits

The City is offering generous rebates id residents conduct energy efficiency upgrades on their detached or semi-detached homes.

Presently, homeowners can take advantage of the Federal ecoENERGY Retrofit Homes program and Provincial LiveSmart B.C. Program at the same time.

Until Dec.31 or until the funding has run out, the City will pay $200 (including HST) for the pre-assessment and post-assessment audits. The remaining cost of the pre-assessment audit will be approximately $20.
