District Superintendent Chris Dumanowski and Field Administrator Suzanne Cavalheiro presented a cheque to KidSport representatives at City Hall Friday morning.

The company says it chose to donate to KidSport after an employee had a death in the family and asked for donations to be made to the charity on their behalf.

KidsSport, a local non-profit organisation, provides grants for financially challenged youth in the community to play sports. The North Peace chapter is one of 24 in the province and 160 across the country.
