Power outages in 2 Fort St. John areas

Approximately 285 residents in the Halfway River Indian Reserve and Wonowon area have been without power since 1:13 this afternoon. Their power is expected to be returned by 4:30 p.m.

Around 97 residents in an area further north have been without power since 2:17 p.m. The outage is south of Road 259, east of Road 267 and west of Road 256. Their power is expected to be returned by 6:30 p.m.

B.C. Hydro currently does not know the causes of these outages.
