Rage ready for second game tonight against PG on home ice

The first period was a quiet one as only one goal was scored and that game from Cody Bardock of the Spruce Kings.  Then early in the second the Rage answered back with two quick goals from Ryan Matthews and Tyson MacCallum.  

After that the Spruce Kings never looked back and let the rest of the game after taking a 5-3 lead.  In the end the final score was 8-5 for the Kings.

The Rage and Kings will face off again tonight at the EnCana Events Centre.  Tickets are only $11 for the exhibition game that starts at 7 p.m.

Saturday will be their last exhibition game before they hit the road to Minneapolis, Minnesota to take part in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) Showcase tournament.

The Rage’s Showcase tournament schedule is as follows:


  • September 14th vs Corpus Cristi Ice Rays

  • September 15th vs Coulee Region Chill

  • September 16th vs Kalamazoo K-wings
  • 
September 17th vs Michigan Warriors

The Season Opener is September 23rd vs Minot Minotauros at 7pm at the Encana Events Centre so make sure to purchase your season tickets by calling 1-250-795-3306.
