School District looking for new Trustees

Starting today, interested persons can get information about nomination procedures for School District 60 Board of Education Trustees.

Seven trustees will again be elected in this fall's civic election.

There will be three in Zone 5, and one in each of the other four zones.

In order to be qualified, candidates must be voting age and a Canadian citizen, as well as have lived in British Columbia for at least 6 months.

Those interested can get information and forms from the School District Administration Office at 10112-105th Ave or call 250-262-6008 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Nominations are being accepted at the Administration Office from Friday, October 4th until October 14th.

Municipal elections will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2011.
