Taylor to host hockey skating seminar

With the upcoming hockey season quickly approaching, players will have the opportunity to sharpen up their skating skills.

Taking place from September 12-28, the Peace Passage Skating Club will be putting on Can Power Skate, a three week skating seminar designed to improve one’s skating abilities. The program requires skaters to wear full hockey equipment.

The program will run Monday and Wednesdays from 6:30-7:15 at the Taylor District Ice Centre. Registration begins Wednesday, September 7 from 4-6 p.m. at the Taylor District Ice Centre.

The program costs $155 per participant and anyone interested in taking place must be second year pre-novice or Level four CanSkate.

Space is limited for the program. To register, contact Sandra Bueckert at 250-789-2289.
