Alaska Highway closed after fatal collision

When officers arrived they found a male pedestrian deceased as a result of injuries sustained during the accident.

The Highway is still closed to both north and south bound traffic, but could re-open as soon as 7 a.m. this morning.

The RCMP haven’t released any further information about the cause of the motor vehicle collision at this time.
