Big Bam looking for volunteers to prep hill for upcoming season

Big Bam needs volunteers to help with a variety of tasks necessary to prepare the hill for the upcoming ski and snowboard season.

Although the positions are unpaid, Big Bam is offering other incentives for anyone who volunteers their time, expertise or equipment. Volunteers can earn free skiing for themselves and their family.

Work has already begun on the hill, and volunteers are needed ASAP. The hill is in need of some skilled labourers, such as carpenters, electricians and painters. They are also looking for some help in general labour in order to help get the hill ready for opening day.

Big Bam is hoping to have the hill ready to ride by Dec. 15.

The hill also requires volunteers for this year’s ski patrol. Anyone interested must to have their level one first aid ticket. Ski patrol will also receive free riding incentives in exchange for their time.

If interested in volunteering for any of the positions, please email Stan at stan@rosebrrok.ca.

For more information on the hill, visit Big Bam’s official website.
