Over the weekend, the Tracker Flyers played back to back games against the Grande Prairie Strike Energy Storm on Friday, Oct.28 and the Edge Maroon on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Game one against the Strike Energy Storm took place in Dawson Creek, with the Tracker Flyers emerging victorious by a score of 6-3. Forward Jade McMullen led the way offensively for the Flyers Friday night, scoring twice and chipping in with two assists for a four point performance. Forward Jordan Harder also had a multi-goal game, scoring back-to-back goals for the Tracker Flyers.
Goaltender Daimon Derouin made 19 saves for the Tracker Flyers win.
On Saturday, the Tracker Flyers were in Fort St. John in a tilt against the Edge Maroon, sending the Maroon home with a 5-3 loss to think about. Leading the way offensively were three Tracker Flyers, Logan Daneluk, Jade McMullen and Jordan Harder. Each player tallied an impressive three points.
Michael Chute got the start in net Saturday, recording 26 saves in the 5-3 victory.
After their sucessful weekend, the Tracker Flyers now hold a 5-1-1 record, and currently sit in second place in the NAMHL's North Black division.
Next up for the Tracker Flyers are back-to-back home games. Friday Nov.4, the boys will welcome the Peace River Royals, and Saturday, Nov. 5, they will take on the Fort McMurray Barons.
