Fort Motors vandalized over weekend

Late in the evening of Friday, Oct. 21, Fort St. John’s Fort Motors Ltd. experienced a case of vandalism, where three individuals, whose ages have not been identified, damaged a number of vehicles, as well as the dealership building.

A number of vehicles were vandalzsed, resulting in smashed front and rear windshields, broken side windows and damage to the doors of multiple vehicles.

With regards to the dealership building, multiple windows and a couple glass doors were damaged.

Fort Motors does have security cameras on the premises, but according to an employee of the dealership, the vandals were able to avoid being caught on film.

The extent of the damage is still being estimated.

The Fort St. John RCMP is currently investigating the situation, and anyone with any information on the incident should contact the local detachment at 250-787-8100.
