The club has been selected to host the 2012 Indoor 3D National Championships.

The national archery tournament will be taking place at the Pomeroy Sport Centre as well as the Fort St. John Kid’s Arena from April 6-8 of next year.

This is a rare opportunity for the Energetic City, as this calibre of tournament is usually held in larger cities in order to accommodate the number of tournament participants.

In the past, the tournament has included over 300 archers, all ranging is ages and categories of competition. Categories are usually decided based on the age of the competitors, as well as the type of equipment they compete with.

The Totem Archery Club is expecting over 100 of its members to participate in the upcoming event.
