Fort St. John RCMP search for missing family from Utah

On Saturday, the RCMP received a request to assist in locating a family of four who have been traveling from Utah to Alaska.  The family consists of Iven Toennis, Crystelle Stroud and Iven’s two children.

The family was last heard from on October 14 and were believed to be in Fort St. John at the time.  They were supposed to check in with family but have not.

The RCMP have not released a photo of the family but say they are traveling in a motor home that is towing a SUV.  The motor home is described as a white 1988 Chevrolet P30 with a Utah plate of C291BK.  The SUV is a white 1998 Chevrolet Blazer with Utah licence plate Z433UR.

The Fort St. John RCMP is looking for help in locating the vehicles mentioned above and the Toennis family.  The RCMP would like the family to contact local police and their family in Utah.

If you have any information about this incident, contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
