Huskies beat Junior Canucks in Dawson Creek


The Huskies started the scoring only 1:33 into the game with a powerplay goal from Cole Calliou.  The Canucks answered back only four minutes later with a goal from Shell Watson.  Then the Canucks took the lead with a goal from Ryan Holtam on the powerplay.  To end the first, the Huskies then scored three more goals and the Canucks scored another two, to tie the game at 4 a piece.

In the second it was all Huskies as they Dogs scored four goals to the Canucks one.  Jordan Gies, Cody Hildebrand, Trenton Forshner and Cole Calliou all scored for the Huskies, Adam Huttema scored for the Canucks.
In the third period only one goal was scored and that was by Dave Marshell to help give the game a final score of 9-5 for the Huskies.

The Junior Canucks will host Grande Prairie for their next game on Friday at the Memorial Arena.  The Huskies will travel next weekend to Whitecourt for a pair of  games.
