Huskies get first win of the season

Robbie Sidhu started the scoring for the Huskies at the 6:15 mark of the first period with a power play goal.  Sexsmith followed that up with a goal 8 minutes later leaving the game tied at 1 after the first.

The Huskies then scored three in the second with goals from Brighton Campbell, Trenton Forshner and Cody Hildebrand.  After two, the Huskies had the lead 4-2.

In the third, the Vipers battled back and scored three goals against the one goal from the Huskies from Robbie Sidhu leaving the game tied at 5 after 60 minutes.

Then in overtime, Robbie Sidhu picked up his third goal of the night and the winning goal to give the Huskies the win with a final score of 6-5.

The Huskies will now head to Sexsmith on Saturday night to play the Vipers one more time this weekend.
