Huskies ready to resume rivalry with Junior Canucks

On Saturday, Oct.15, the Huskies will play their second of four consecutive road games at the Dawson Creek Memorial Arena, squaring off against the Junior Canucks.

Fort St. John will enter the weekend game in fourth place in the NWJHL standings with four points, sporting a 2-2-0-0 record.

Dawson Creek currently occupies the sixth place spot in the league standings with two points and a 1-3-0-0 record.

This will be the first time the two teams meet in the regular season. The Huskies and the Junior Canucks had back to back games against one another in the pre-season. The teams split wins in those games, with the Junior Canucks winning their home game 5-4 and the Huskies emerging victorious by a score of 8-2 in Fort St. John.

Saturday’s game against the Junior Canucks begins at 8 p.m.
