Mock plane crash tests responses of airport staff, emergency personnel

Airport staff and members of the Dawson Creek Fire Department, BC Ambulance Service, and local RCMP detachment – along with some fine student actors from Dawson Creek Secondary School – came together for the exercise. The airport is required to conduct an exercise every five years in order to meet regulatory requirements, and the post-exercise debriefing identified a number of improvements that will be brought into operation to improve combined responses and allow the individual agencies to improve their processes.
