Moustaches to take over Fort St. John

Men who support Movember are called Mo Bros, and the women who support them are Mo Sistas.

In order to take part, men and women begin by registering online at www.movember.com, where friends and family can make donations to the cause. Women get involved as well by raising money, organizing events, and support those who can grow moustaches.

There's only one condition: the upper lip must be clean shaven on November 1. No cheating!

Last year, Fort St. John fundraising teams raised over $27,000, and this year organizers are looking to make more. To kick off the month, a party is being held on November 1, 2011 at the Lido Theatre. To wrap up the season, the "Mo Party" is being held at the Lido Theatre on November 30.

All funds raised go to Prostate Cancer Canada, for research, education, support and awareness for prostate cancer. For more information or to register, visit www.movember.com.
