PRRD looking for input on Parks and Trails Plan

The plans for the next ten years will be outlined in The 2012-2021 Parks and Trails Master Plan. It will outline policy, priorities and development proposals for existing and future parks as well as look into regional trail networks.

The PRRD will be hosting 11 open houses around the region to get input from those who use the parks and trails. Residents are encouraged to attend a town hall meeting, and complete a survey online or on paper. As an added incentive, those who fill out the survey will be entered to win one of two iPod Shuffles.

An open house will be held in Dawson Creekon Tuesday, October 18 from 5:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m. at the Peace River Regional District:Dawson Creek Office.
