The score would remain 1-0 in favor of the Monsters as the first period came to an end.

The second period was underway with a sharp and physical Rage team hitting the ice. Dawson Creek held most of the momentum throughout the period, but again Fresno was able to find the back of the net. Making the score 2-0. Eventually the Rage would be awarded a power play and with hard work Keenan Bailey was able to bury a rebound, putting his team within one. Time would run out in the second period with the Monsters up 2-1.

The third period started off with Dawson Creek pressing hard and generating chances. With an aggressive forecheck the Rage had the Monsters back on their heels. Over halfway through the final frame the Monsters were able to score their insurance goal, putting them up by 2. Dawson Creek continued to work, but was unable to capitalize. The game ended with the final score 3-1 for Fresno.

The Rage will play Fresno again tonight at the EnCana Events Centre.  Game starts at 7 p.m.
