RCMP seek vehicle that struck woman

The situation is currently under investigation, but RCMP believe the woman was in the area voluntarily, and that the vehicle began moving after she exited it. The vehicle subsequently left the scene.

The 37 year-old Fort St. John resident suffered serious injuries to her head and upper body and was treated at the Fort St. John hospital.

The vehicle is described as being an older model 4-door pickup truck, possibly grey or darker in colour, with spot lights on its roof. There were two male occupants, and RCMP is currently trying to get more information about them from the victim. It is possible they and the truck may have been in the area of the Condill Hotel earlier in the evening.

Anyone who may have seen the truck last night or who has more information about it or its occupants are being asked to call the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8140 or to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.crimestoppersnebc.ca.
