Tumbler Ridge will have a new mayor come November

 

Friday afternoon nominations closed for the November municipal election and two people have put their names forward to replace out going Mayor Larry White.

As for councillor positions, incumbents Doug Beale and Robert MacKay will once agains seek re-election.  Crosbie Bourdeauz, Mike Caisley, Sherri-Lynn Hewitt, Tim Snyder, Aleen Torraville and Lindsey Wozniak will also seek a position of councillor in Tumbler Ridge.

There are six spots available for councillor in the District of Tumbler Ridge.
