Two candidates in the running for Mayor of Chetwynd

This November Councillor Merlin Nichols will face-off against local resident Bob Shirley in the race for mayor.

As for Council, incumbent candidates Bob Nicolson, Joanne Roberts and Kathy Weaver will seek re-election along side seven other candidates.  The other candidates in the running for councillor positions are Alec Brownlee, Rochelle Galbraith, Don Harris, Elmer Kabush, Julia Nelson, Ernest Pfanner and Laura Weisgerber.

The municipal election will take place on Saturday November 19 all across the province.
