End of the road for Cranston and Rams

Friday evening, the unranked (24-6) Rams took to the hardwood against the third-ranked Hawaii Rainbow Wahine (31-1) in the regional quarter finals.

The Rams were defeated 3-1 in sets, (25-22, 22-25, 16-25, 18-25), despite entering the third set tied at 1-1. However, in front of a crowd of over 8,500, the Wahine won the next two sets, to continue its 26-match win streak.


Despite the loss, Cranston played an excellent game for the Rams with 14 kills on .324 hitting, also tallying 12 blocks for her sixth double-double of the season.

The Rams finished up their season with a record of 24-6, making it the 17th straight year that CSU has won 20-plus matches.
