The BCGEU issued a strike notice this morning, supporting its proposal for a new collective agreement with the B.C. Government. The union says negotiations have stalled and wages are still the main issue. The last contract expired at the end of March.

This is the third job action the union has taken this summer, after walkouts on July 3 and August 7.
