Seniors and students will pay $1.75 per fare and $35.00 per month, up from $1.25 and $26.00. Packs of 10 tickets will cost $18.00 for adults and $15.75 for seniors/students. The HandyDART will still cost $2.00 within the city and $4.00 from Taylor and Charlie Lake.

B.C. Transit last increased its fares in Fort St. John in September 2007. The transit system in Fort St. John began in 1981 with three buses at a time when residents only had to pay 40 cents per ride.
