The tournament, taking place in Red Deer from August 17-19, will have the U18 Northern Strikers taking on fellow top Tier 2 teams from across the region.

Despite playing the series against the Wolves almost a month ago, the U18 Strikers kept their skills sharp by playing in a warm up tournament prior to this weekend's Provincials.

The team will play in three preliminary games prior to being seeded for the playoffs, which will be played on Sunday.
