Eight senior boys and girls teams, along with five junior teams, will be making their way to the Energetic City, including clubs from Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek and Hudson Hope.

Along with some high intensity volleyball, a variety of delicious snacks will be available to purchase, with proceeds going towards North Peace Secondary teams’ travel costs for the upcoming volleyball season.

The tournament will begin Friday afternoon at 1 p.m., with games running throughout the day and carrying over into Saturday, September 29.

The weekend event will be the first tournament hosted by both the boys and girls volleyball clubs in a couple of years.

The home teams won’t be entering this weekend cold, as last weekend, three North Peace Secondary School volleyball teams competed in the 36th Annual Big Red Senior High Volleyball Tournament in Grande Prairie.
