Once again, Patrick Anderson led the team with 34 points, 12 assists and 9 rebounds. Hedges contributed to the win with 9 points in his 26:03 minutes on the court.

Canada rallied back from a two point deficit after the first quarter, 23 points put them ahead in the second, and an impressive 26 points in the fourth quarter sealed the deal.

The team will next take on Germany, the only other undefeated team in Pool B, Sunday, September 2, at 7:15 a.m. local time.
