The fair aims to connect those looking for jobs with potential employers from a range of industries. Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training Pat Bell says this is the perfect opportunity to come and meet local employers.

"Across B.C., new investment has been creating new jobs, so the demand for skilled employees is strong and will only get stronger," he argues. "The 'BC Jobs Start Here' job fairs are helping employers find the right person for the right job – the key to B.C.'s economic success in the years ahead."

Employers from post-secondary institutions, industry, trades and health authorities will all be there to meet with job seekers. There will also be information on different skills training and career development programs within the province.
