Once fees are received, the company then forwards a cheque to the mystery shopper(s) that is fraudulent. This results in the mystery shopper(s) incurring the cost.

Although there are legitimate businesses that recruit employees via mail, the Fort St. John RCMP are asking the public to be wary of any mystery shopper offers being made that require money to be sent to cover any potential fees.
