The 2013 Capital Plan lays out improvements and upgrades for roads, sidewalks, street lights, traffic control, heavy equipment, vehicles, public parks and outdoor amenities and facilities.

In total, $10.5 million in roads and related infrastructure projects are proposed for 2013, and $8.94 million in facilities projects, including $5.5 million for the new fire hall and $400,000 over 2013/2014 for the demolition and relocation of the Visitor Information Centre. There are also a proposed $8.32 million in water and sewer projects and $2,270,730 in equipment for 2013.

The Capital Budget is scheduled to be finalized on November 13, with the adoption of the bylaw by December 10.
