The two month investigation leading up to this seizure involved the combined forces of the local RCMP detachment, North District RCMP General Investigation Section, Fort St. John Major Crime Unit, Fort St. John Drug Section and the Prince George Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit.
All five Fort St. John locations were secured by police, with six adults arrested and taken into custody without incident.
One of those adults was released the following day after agreeing to appear in court on a future date, while the other five remain in custody in Fort St. John and will be appearing in court before a judge today.
RCMP are requesting the approval of charges on over 30 offences including trafficking, Possession of Stolen Property Over $2,500, and weapons offences.
A sixth search warrant was also executed Saturday, October 27, and RCMP have yet to disclose if anything was discovered during this execution.
Authorities searched the five locations for two days and in addition to the large amount of illegal drugs, they located large quantities of cash as well.
Currently, the investigation is still ongoing.
