The game will be taking place at Grande Prairie's Coca-Cola Centre, and will begin at 8 p.m.
Fort St. John will have to wait one more game before being able to give their Flyers and hometown welcome, as the Senior Flyers will next play in Hythe, taking on the Mustangs Thursday, November 1.
Friday, November 2, the North Peace Arena will host the first home game of the season, when the Flyers welcome their neighbouring rivals, the Dawson Creek Canucks.
It’s a significant season for the Senior Flyers this year, as following the conclusion of the regular season, Fort St. John will host the 2013 Savage Cup tournament, determining the province’s top Senior Male AAA team.
The best-of-five series will be taking place from March 21 – 25, and will be played on the ice of the North Peace Arena.
Last year, the Powell River Regals defeated Fort St. John’s Flyers to win the Savage Cup.
This year will mark the 100th year anniversary of the tournament, which was first won by the Vancouver Rowing Club during the 1912-1913 season.
