They did so without the Grande Prairie Wolves Runners, who couldn't make it as they were running in another race.

Placing first in the 20-34 age bracket, 5 km race was Nicki Haugan, who also placed first overall.

Broyden Bennett took top honours in the men’s 20-34 age division, while Norma Webster won the women’s 35-49 category.

Steve Sadownik of Fort St. John’s Inconnu Swim Club won the men’s 35-49 age division.

The morning race also featured a men’s and a women’s over-50 age bracket, which was won by Dave Sloan and Barb Polehoykie respectively.

A 3 km distance for juveniles was also held, as well as a 1.5 km distance for children to race in.

Official times are still being tallied from the various races, and will eventually be made available through the Sub Zero Running Club’s official website.
