As a result of the roll over, the two individuals occupying the vehicle sustained injuries and were transported to the Fort St John Hospital by B.C. Ambulance after having been extracted by the Fire Department. One of the occupants was subsequently air lifted out of town.

The Traffic Analyst also attended the scene and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.

Please be advised that traffic flow will continue in both north and south directions on the Alaska Highway between 100th Street and 92nd Street, however it will be slowed and diverted at times to allow the investigation to continue.

This traffic diversion is expected to last into mid morning.
