The snow has moved north and Fort Nelson still has a snowfall warning in effect.  The Northern Rockies region could see anywhere from 15 to 30 cm of snow through Monday morning.

An area of low pressure over the northern prairies is forecast to continue to spread moisture into Northeastern BC today through Monday. This moisture combined with a frigid northerly flow is expected to lead to snowfall amounts ranging from 15 to 30 cm with higher amounts nearer the Rockies. Snow is forecast to be heaviest tonight and ease early Monday morning.

A number of the roads in the Peace region are snow covered with limited visibility because of blowing snow.  If you have any information about road conditions in the area, email [email protected]
